Update: Psychology Services At Our Centre
YES we are open! Information from the Victorian State Government Department of Health and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency states that psychology is a permitted service and psychologists can continue providing services.
However, current Victorian Stage 4 restrictions only allow face to face sessions for those clients whose mental health and well-being would significantly deteriorate, and they are unable to have telehealth/telephone consultations.
Given the above advice and restrictions, our Centre’s psychologist Lian Vandenberg will be transitioning to telehealth/telephone consultations as of Monday 10th August 2020.
Lian will continue to provide limited face to face services only for clients whose mental health would likely be significantly compromised. These consultations will be based upon clinical need/risk.
Lian is already providing telehealth/telephone consultations, and these have been an effective means of continuing to provide assessment, treatment and support for clients’ mental health and well-being.
If you have any questions or concerns about using telehealth/telephone services, please do not hesitate to contact the Centre on 9372 0499 with your queries.
Thank you for your understanding as we all continue to navigate our way through changes implemented since the commencement of the coronavirus pandemic.
